At work Roy is obviously distracted by his row with Hayley. Toyah convinces him to speak to her. Sally tells Kevin that Natalie is selling the Rovers. It is implied that Sally thinks Natalie is getting what she deserves. Hayley tells Janice and Karen that she thinks her and Roy's differences cannot be resolved. Ken suggests a campaign to save to Rovers. Natalie and Kevin discuss her plans to move - he seems to be the only one to understand her situation. Roy turns up at the factory with flowers for Hayley, although she agrees to meet him later, she leaves him with the flowers. Peter and Linda have a confrontation in the Rovers. He warns her that Mike is poison. Liz asks Natalie if she could put her name forward as the new bar manager. David interrupts Sarah and Glen kissing, he realises that Glen doesn't know about Bethany and their parents don't know about Glen and he uses this to have power over Sarah. Hayley goes to see Roy in the cafe but a leaking tap distracts him, she leaves frustrated. Peter Hartnell then arrives to discuss the fostering process, Roy ends up telling him everything and is told that he'd better make up his mind what he wants to do if the process is to carry on.
