Plot[]
Ashley practices his best man speech and Maxine nags him about drinking. Roy feels guilty about the boy who broke in, wishing he could have helped. Martin phones Carol Delaney to try and get in touch with Rebecca. They arrange to meet. Roy sees Wayne Hayes coming out of the builder's yard and persuades him to come in the cafe for some food. Curly and Emma's wedding is a success. Deirdre catches the bouquet. Roy and Hayley persuade Wayne to go up to the flat so that he can have a bath. As Roy phones the police, Wayne overhears and tries to run away. Roy and Hayley talk to him and find out he lives in a children's home, but has just run away from his mother's house where he was to spend Christmas. Martin and Carol talk and Martin realises Rebecca is staying with her. Peter chats up Karen in the Rovers.
