PlotEdit

Mr Woo traps Norris at the top of the stairs until Emily removes him. Ken receives a speeding ticket but he's adamant that he never speeds. Karen starts back at the factory. Audrey decides she doesn't want to see a doctor as she's frightened of what she might be told. Annie Woodford calls on Peter to give him the £20 back which he lent her. She tells Shelley that Peter was with another woman at the time. Peter tells Shelley that the other woman was just a stranger who stopped to help. Shelley believes him. Aidan shows Sarah the copy key he's had made to Ken Barlow's car. Ade takes the car for a spin and Sarah is shocked. Les receives a letter from the Housing Department telling him that he and Janice can stay in the house however, Les tells Janice they haven't made a decision yet and that they will be calling again on Friday which is also their wedding anniversary. Janice agrees to come round again and pretend to be back with Les. Maria gets a job as a barmaid in the Rovers. Martin moves into No.8 to look after the kids and alleviate Audrey. Peter tells Lucy that despite nearly being found out he's enjoying both their relationship and the danger that goes with it.
