Plot

Steve and Kelly wake up in bed together. They're both hung-over and guilt-ridden. Kelly quickly leaves, relieved that no-one spots her. Ronnie's also guilt-ridden and lies to Lloyd saying how she rescued a girl whose boyfriend was threatening her - that's why she switched her radio off. Craig works for Kevin at the garage while Rosie goes shopping with her mates. Craig's miffed when he finds out the other girls took their boyfriends along. Keith thinks he's won the war when he finds Charlie repairing the roof of No.6. Sean's upset when his dad fails to return his call. Steve and Kelly agree to keep quiet about their night of passion. Kelly feels terrible and realises how much she misses Lloyd. Keith gloats to Deirdre, Tracy and Violet about how he's finally got Charlie to see sense and repair his roof. Charlie shocks Keith when he reveals that he did a deal with Keith's landlord and has bought the house from him. Keith reels as Charlie serves him with two months' notice telling him that he intends to live in No.6 himself. Tracy's delighted at the prospect of her new home. Ronnie and Steve make up, each hiding a guilty secret from the other. When Ronnie sees the Gazette headline "OAP killed in hit and run" she's very shaken.
