PlotEdit

Les gets himself a temporary job pushing leaflets through doors for Wong's Chippy. Lloyd and Steve are each busy trying to poach the Street Cars staff for their own new business. Eileen remains loyal to Steve. The brewery offers Shelley the job of manager of a big country pub. Blanche tells Tracy that one of her relations, Eva, is having an engagement party and how successful her relations are compared to her. Leanne tries to endear herself to the factory girls by promising them a night out. Maureen Tully introduces herself to Eileen and gives her an envelope addressed to Sean. Jamie forces Sean to open the envelope. It contains a photo of Sean's real dad. Maria's annoyed when Chris Pitcher turns up an hour late for their date. Tracy tries to persuade Charlie to attend the engagement party with her but he refuses and abandons her for the evening in favour of his mates. Shelley tells Bev about the new job. Bev's sad but pleased for Shelley. Sean's upset he can see no resemblance between him and his dad. Lloyd and Steve continue to row about Street Cars. The argument escalates and Steve tells Lloyd to get out of the Street Cars flat as it belongs to him.
