Eileen tries desperately to get hold of Jason but he's switched his phone off. David's crush on Maria is obvious as he hangs on her every word. Claire insists on covering the switch at Street Cars for Eileen. Ashley's furious to find her working. He picks up the baby and takes him home. Craig moves into the flat above Roy's Rolls and starts helping out in the café. Gail tries to comfort Sarah who's numb with misery after being jilted by Jason. Vernon comes on to Michelle suggesting they meet up while Liz is working. Michelle refuses. Steve fancies Michelle and is secretly pleased when she explains her partner died a few years ago. Charlie removes the washer from one of the taps in Maria's flat. Audrey apologises to Gail for condoning the wedding and admits that Gail was right all along. Maria calls Charlie, telling him there's something wrong with the tap on her sink. Charlie goes straight round to fix it. Claire tells Ashley she wants to go back to work but Ashley won't hear of it. Gail, Eileen and Audrey row about the wedding fiasco. Charlie kisses Maria. She can't resist and they end up in bed together.
