Kirk invites Maria on the cottage weekend to cheer her up. She's grateful. Hayley wishes she could connect with Craig but she feels like she's in his way. Ashley goes to register the baby's birth. He's disappointed when Claire refuses to go with him saying she's expecting a call from her ill mother. Norris and Amber enjoy gossiping about Sarah and Jason's non-wedding. Eileen arranges to call at No.4 for lunch with Claire but when she does there's no reply. Claire hides in the house as she's depressed and doesn't want company. Charlie fixes up a CCTV camera in the builders yard. He trains it on Maria's flat. Chesney's made up when Fiz gives him a second-hand computer from the factory. Cilla moans about how skint they are and how they're going to pay the electricity bill. Charlie fawns over Tracy in front of Maria just to wind her up. Ashley shows Claire the birth certificate which says Thomas Duncan Peacock. She shows little interest. Charlie watches Maria entering her flat on his CCTV monitor.
