Audrey tries to disguise her hangover from Gail. Sally and Gail muse over Audrey and Bill's relationship. Danny tells Frankie he's booked a restaurant for Sunday and wants to invite Jamie. Frankie secretly pre-warns Jamie and asks him to graciously accept. Norris has a go at Chesney over the way he fills his paper sack and then bosses Ken around. Ken's sick of working with Norris and storms out of The Kabin. Bill takes Audrey to the dog track. Audrey lets her hair down; she drinks pints, eats burgers and has a win on the dogs. To keep Frankie happy, Jamie agrees to the meal. Danny's elated and buys drinks for all the factory girls. Roy and Hayley are perturbed when Becky turns up at the café saying she needs a reference for a job interview. Liz signs the paperwork and officially takes over as landlady of the Rovers. She celebrates by holding a lock-in. Danny kisses Frankie but it's obvious she's preoccupied. Audrey goes back to No.13 for a nightcap with Bill. They stumble drunkenly into the bins and Sophie blackmails Bill out of £5 not to tell Sally. Bill and Audrey kiss in the backyard of No.13.
