Frankie's the butt of the gossips. Janice accuses her and Jamie of murdering Danny. David works on his car. Gail's delighted to see him so focused on something. Claire invites Tracy, Charlie and Amy for Christmas dinner, but Tracy plays the victim and insinuates Charlie won't let them come. Gail persuades Roy to part with his great-grandmother's Christmas pudding recipe hoping to impress Sally with her culinary skills. Roy sends Frankie home from the café as all the customers are talking about her. Sophie gives Vera a spirit reading. Vera's very impressed when Sophie's spirit guide, "Southern Wind" mentions the trip to France with Ivy Tilsley and Hilda Ogden in January 1980. Nervous Steve buys a new shirt and has his hair cut in preparation for his date with Michelle. Eileen takes the mickey and likens him to Elvis. The police interview Frankie wanting to know the details of hers and Jamie's relationship and why she failed to mention it before. Knowing how much Jamie hates Danny, Frankie's worried that Jamie may know more than he's letting on about Danny's disappearance. Jamie's furious realising that Frankie thinks he might have killed his dad.
