Cilla continues to take money off the locals for her dolphin fund. Steve frantically tries to find someone to cover the switch at Street Cars so he can go on his date with Michelle. Bev says goodbye to all her friends. At the last minute she changes her mind about scattering Fred's ashes on the A54 (where he proposed) and instead follows Ashley and Claire to the Derby Dales where they sprinkle all his ashes together. Sophie fools Sarah into thinking she's received a spirit message from Brian Tilsley. Michelle sets off to the gig with Vernon. She's disappointed Steve's not turned up. Frankie and Jamie make up. They decide that in the New Year they're moving to Spain to start afresh. Tracy's secretly delighted when she finds out that Claire's been keeping a diary of all the times Charlie's threatened or bullied her. Rosie finds out that Sophie had found Ivy Brennan's diary in the attic of No.5 when she was up there with Chesney. Sophie promises to stop conning people that she's got a spirit guide. Steve desperately tries to get hold of Michelle. He arrives at the gig but Vernon tells him that Michelle's just left with a guy called Sonny and they've gone for a drink. Steve's gutted.
