Claire's shocked and embarrassed when Darryl appears from the shed in his pants. When Ken tries to comfort Deirdre she tells him he was a bad father. Paul is ignoring Carla. Ryan notices and wonders why. Darryl reappears in the garden in his pants - both Gail and Claire are gobsmacked. Darryl turns his music up loud - Gail and Claire are not impressed. Ken talks to a sympathetic Rita about his worry for Deirdre. Vernon's been asked to go on tour with his band. Liz tells him to go. Liam is annoyed that Paul has failed to turn up to a meeting with a client. Ken is upset when he finds out Deirdre has spoken to Liz about their relationship. Emily suggests that Ken and Deirdre get away for a while but when he suggests it to her she ends up rowing with him again. Ken wants to talk but Deirdre refuses. Ken tells Deirdre if she walks out he won't be there when she gets back. She leaves. Violet's agonising about whether to text Gary. Michelle tells her to. There is an uncomfortable atmosphere between Steve and Michelle. Carla tells her to sort it out. Blanche tells Ken he has to stand up to Deirdre. Ken is angry and frustrated. Ken tells Blanche that it's best if he leaves. Blanche is upset. Violet speaks to Sean about feeling unattractive. Liz confides to Deirdre that while Vernon is away she will amuse herself with Derek. Sean tells Michelle to speak to Steve before she loses him as a friend. Deirdre is shocked when she comes home and finds that Ken has left.
