Sean and Violet realise they can't have sex. It would ruin their friendship and Sean is unable to overcome his homosexuality. Carla gets the factory back up and running. She tells Janice she's on a final warning and when Sally asks her about the PA job which Paul promised her, Carla belittles her suggesting she wouldn't be up to the job. Sally's furious. Molly and Tyrone make plans to move out of No.9. Vera guesses they've found somewhere else to live and is upset. Molly feels guilty. Roy and Hayley entertain Fiz, John and Cilla for dinner. Fiz is annoyed to find her mum there. John turns on the charm and after dinner Roy puts on some music and John waltzes with Hayley. Jamie recognises Pat and tells a worried Steve and Lloyd that he thinks Pat is a married man. Eileen's delighted when Pat calls in the cab office with kebabs for their dinner. Sean and Violet practise artificial insemination. Afterwards they're giddy and nervous wondering if it's worked.
