Plot[]
Eileen and Steve wallow in self-pity and compare their non-existent love lives. Steve makes Eileen promise that Shania the transvestite will remain their secret. Jason finally gets hold of Eileen but she can't stand his moaning and tosses her mobile into the sea. Kevin, Rosie and Sophie are shocked when Sally tells them to cook their own lunch as she's got her English homework to do. Norris is shocked when he finds out from Neville Hawthorne that his ex-wife Angela has died. Gail, Sarah and Jason have a meeting with the vicar to discuss the wedding. David tries to ruin it by telling him how Jason did a runner last time round. Eileen tells Steve that she's worried her life's nearly over and any chance of real happiness has passed. Steve points out Jerry fancies her but Eileen's disbelieving. Sarah watches David trying to chat up Mel and has an idea. Roger agrees to move in with Janice to save money. Leanne feels guilty. Steve mulls over his life and concludes the only things that keep him going are his daughter Amy and his friendship with Eileen. They raise a toast to the future.
