Alex is furious as he's forced to return to home with Wendy. Michelle's emotional promising they'll still see each other but Alex leaves hurt. Jack's worried about Paul and gives him his winnings telling him to pay off his debts. Paul guiltily accepts the money. Kirk and Chesney continue to live in squalor. Claire's concerned about them. Paul pays Dan the money he owes him. Steve tells Ryan that Alex has gone home with Wendy and how much it would mean to Michelle if he returned to the Rovers. Chesney searches the Gazette for a job for Kirk but with no luck. Leanne puts an advert for waiting-on staff in the Corner Shop. Amber decides she's going to apply. Maria suggests to Liam he should sell his share of the factory to Carla or Tony as she's fed up of hearing about Underworld all the time. Gail manipulates Tina into promising she won't tell David about the baby. Dan calls in the pizzeria and flirts with Leanne. Amber calls in the pizzeria and asks Leanne for a job. Leanne takes her on. Ryan returns to the Rovers and Michelle's delighted to have her other son home.
