Liz is still in shock over Amy's close shave with a van. Steve blames himself and tells Michelle that he's going to spend more time with Amy. Leanne and Dan have spent the afternoon in bed. Leanne's nervous waiting to get some news of the restaurant. Gail tells DC Weller she reckons that Jason couldn't have pushed her down the stairs as their argument took place downstairs. DC Weller tells Gail they need more to go on. Leanne gets a call from the alarm company to say the restaurant has burnt down. Leanne pretends to be shocked and rushes to the scene. Amber tries to chat up Paul in the Rovers but his mind's elsewhere. Paul gets a call to say the pizzeria has burnt down. Becky voices her fear of Scrabble and learning long words to Roy. Leanne and Paul arrive at the scene of the fire. Both pretend to be horrified. Liz is pleasantly surprised with how the smoking shelter is coming along. The locals ask Tony to sort out the traffic problem caused by the building site. Paul insists on staying the night with Leanne. Leanne has no choice but to agree although she fobs him off saying there'll be no sex as she wants to take things slowly.
