PlotEdit

Gail tells Audrey she will get the truth eventually without having to involve the police. Eileen is exasperated when Lauren complains about the hot water. Leanne is defensive with Janice, finding the constant lying a strain. Alex comes to see Michelle again. They talk, enjoying moving their relationship on. Lauren tells Sean about the rent she owes. He says he'll talk to Eileen about it. David and Gail have a heart-to-heart about the accident but David still won't admit he pushed her and left her for dead. Vernon sets about enlisting Bill's help with the Rovers smoking shelter, but he infuriates Liz and she takes him off the project. Leanne and Paul discuss things with the loss adjuster. The money side of things is going to take a lot longer than Paul expected. David is determined that Gail should phone the police but she refuses. Lauren dumps Darryl when he refuses to steal money from his dad's shop for her. Harry and Liz flirt a little and she mentions Vernon's short-comings. Leanne and Paul argue not aware that Dan is listening. Paul leaves and Leanne tells Dan she has a new money-making scheme. Gail is still refusing to call the police. David storms out of the house, takes a wrench from Kevin's garage and sets about smashing Roger's van and wreaking havoc on the rest of the Street.
