Deirdre is concerned about Ken. David pulls a sickie. Gail shows him that she understands. Blanche winds Deirdre up about the character Ken has depicted. Pam and Molly look at wedding dress catalogues. Blanche warns Ken the toll his feverish work is having on Deirdre. Gail invites Joe McIntyre in for a cuppa. Bill has given Ted the opera tickets back and he invites Audrey. Ryan returns home to learn about Michelle and Steve's split. Deirdre tries to surprise Ken with lunch but they end up arguing. Darryl tells David to be more dignified about getting Tina back. Eileen hints to Becky that the house is crowded. She agrees to look elsewhere. Jason notices that things are tense between Steve and Becky. Ken and Deirdre's fury with each other continues and Deirdre storms out.
