Liam's furious with Carla for buying into his business. He tells her that she can have her money back and storms out of the pub. Fiz finds out from Lloyd that John's grandma Nel has died. She makes up her mind to go to the funeral as she got on well with Nel. Maria dresses sexily and hoping for a romantic night with Liam but he arrives home in a foul mood. Amber's quizzing Dev about his relationship with Nina when Nina suddenly appears. Nina tells him that she's going to visit her daughter Tara in London. Rita calls to see Emily intent on finding out the truth about the photos. Norris is panicking not wanting Emily to know that he's read her will. Liam calls at Carla's flat. He realises they need Carla's money to go ahead with the business but makes her promise it'll be their secret and Maria must never find out. Emily wonders what on earth's the matter with Rita and Norris who are acting very strangely. Rita can't bring herself to mention the photos and leaves to Norris's relief. Mel tells Jerry that her first day in the police went well. Jerry's pleased for her. Liam and Carla shake hands on the deal. Carla's secretly delighted knowing that she's got Liam just where she wants him.
