Tony questions Carla but she demands her own answers. Anna surprises Gail outside the Medical Centre and invites her for a drive. Gail reluctantly agrees. Julie, Sean, Wiki, Janice, Kelly and Fiz enjoy having the afternoon off in the Rovers. Wiki receives a call from Poland. Her mother is seriously ill. Tony offers Carla twenty questions. She uses the opportunity to get some answers. Lloyd has a heart-to-heart with Steve about his relationship with Liz leaving Steve more accepting of their relationship. Gail is surprised to find that Anna has brought her to Strangeways. Carla rattles Tony further by saying Liam was everything Tony isn't. Gail and Anna witness a weeping family exit the prison. Anna urges Gail to help prevent her family from suffering a similar fate. Gail hails down a taxi down and rushes home leaving Anna behind. Carla tells Tony that she loves Liam more than ever now he's dead, more than she ever loved Tony. Lloyd tells Liz that he's taking Steve on a night out to cheer him up. Tony squares up to Carla but fears he's revealed too much and walks away. Gail tells David and Tina what happened with Anna but remains convinced she's doing what's right. David becomes unnerved when Len suggests he can't keep Tina happy. Carla apologises to Tony for constantly talking about Liam. She asks for the truth one last time and he finally admits his part in Liam's murder.
