Len tries to strike a deal with Joe. If he gets Tina to tell the truth in court that David started the fight not Gary, then he'll give Joe a big kitchen contract. Becky tries to ingratiate herself with Amy which gets on Liz's nerves. It's obvious Becky knows nothing about children. Michelle starts work in the bookies. Leanne shows her the ropes. Ken calls to see Martha on her boat. He agrees to go with her to the theatre and watch her in her play. Luke offers to buy Maria's and Tom's share of Lad Rags off them. They agree to think about it. Gary buys Anna some chocolates to cheer her up. Anna's touched but upset at the thought of him going to prison. Tina sees Anna crying in the back garden. Deirdre prepares a romantic meal for Ken but he doesn't show up. After a wonderful evening with Martha, Ken kisses her tenderly saying he must go. Ken arrives home to find Deirdre icily cool towards him having prepared a surprise meal. Ken feels guilty. Deirdre asks him where he's been and who the wine was for. Ken lies saying he went to the theatre with Ted and the wine was for him. Tina admits to Joe that David started the fight with Gary and it's David's idea she should lie in court.
