Plot
Edit
Ashley visits Claire. She puts pressure on him to have a vasectomy but Ashley refuses to make any promises. Joe learns that he has to replace some worktops he fitted. He asks Graeme for one more bottle of painkillers. Graeme refuses to oblige. Maria seeks sanctuary at Underworld and complains to Tony about Helen and Barry. Norris doctors his shoe to give him an excuse to wear the new trainers. Freda arrives and meets Ramsay, who tries out his sign language. Ashley gets a call to say Claire has gone missing. Lloyd drives Ashley to the hospital where they're shocked to discover Claire has climbed on to the hospital roof. Helen and Barry go out for lunch. Tony visits Maria with a takeaway and reveals that he arranged for Audrey to invite them so as to give Maria some peace. Ashley tries to coax Claire down. Claire talks about her postnatal depression and how she can't risk going through it again. Freda introduces Emily and Ramsay to her fiancé St. John in Australia via webcam. She reveals that he is an activist, currently in prison for punching a policeman during a political rally. Norris is smug. Maria tells Helen that the baby will be christened but not as a Catholic. Helen seethes. Luke indulges Rosie's design idea for a thong. He agrees to produce a sample. Graeme reluctantly agrees to provide Joe with more pills. Ashley persuades Claire down from the roof and agrees to have a vasectomy. The police turn up but Ashley convinces them Claire's okay.
