Grishma and Upma discover the camp bed and realise that Dev and Sunita aren't actually sleeping together. They're concerned. David gives Tina some perfume for her birthday. Tina tells him if she doesn't hear from Joe on her birthday then she'll know there's something seriously wrong. Jesse places £10 on a horse. He puts his winnings on another horse and then again resulting in a win of £3,856.50. Eileen's thrilled. Grishma and Upma quiz Sunita and Dev about the state of their marriage. Sunita tells them that Dev's got a bad back and he finds the camp bed more comfy. David texts Tina from Joe's phone wishing her a happy birthday. Tina's delighted and tells Gail she's had a text from Joe. Gail's relieved thinking he must still be alive. Gail excitedly tells David about the text from Joe but David quickly explains how he sent it to put Tina off the scent. Gail's disappointed. As yet unnoticed, Joe's body floats to the surface of the lake.
