Plot
Gail tells the police that she sent the text to stop Tina feeling abandoned on her birthday. DS Carr asks for Joe's phone. David's panic-stricken as Gail goes to find it. Sunita instructs Dev not to say anything to the children about their reunion. He excitedly agrees. Gail's baffled when she can't find the phone. David keeps quiet. The police tell her not to worry for now and leave. Dev cannot hide his excitement and tells the twins that he is going to be around forever. Michelle's amused to find Ciaran working at the pub under Liz's lustful gaze. David admits to Gail that he disposed of the phone. Gail's incredulous that he would destroy evidence. David tells her to maintain to the police that the phone is lost. Sunita's furious to find Dev booking a holiday to Disneyland for the family. She accuses him of ignoring her wishes and asks him to leave. Becky's put out to find that Liz has replaced her with Ciaran. Jack and Connie attempt to warn Tyrone to send Jackie packing but he claims she's changed. Jackie arrives and tells them to get lost. Liz invites Ciaran to share a drink with her as his shift ends. He accepts but is alarmed when Liz misreads his natural charm and moves in for a kiss. They are interrupted by Steve and Becky. Ciaran retreats while Liz is mortified. Sunita wonders if she's done right by her children by sending Dev away.
