Plot[]
Part One: Tracy tries to convince DS Carr and DC Glynn she's onto something with Gail. They tell her to get a confession or some new evidence or else stop wasting their time. Roy's annoyed that Hayley discussed their wedding with Anna and is silent when they have a drink with Anna and Eddie. Cheryl drinks with Leanne in the Rovers as Lloyd and Teresa come in. Leanne spots a spark between the taxi driver and her friend. Tina's about to venture out for a walk with Graeme but sees David and Nick setting off for the prison and darts back inside the flat. Roy and Hayley return home, bickering as they do so. Janice tackles Trevor about the money she found, suspecting he's a drug dealer. He explains that it's the kitty for the World Cup trip which is a secret from the lads' partners. He admits Peter's one of those going. The will reading takes place with Deirdre, Ken, Peter, Steve and Norris present. He is on tenterhooks. Blanche leaves Simon a fob watch, Amy a broken music box, some Maeve Binchy books for Ken - along with Eccles - her jewellery to Deirdre and the remainder of her estate with savings of £14,0000 to Tracy. Norris learns Blanche wanted him there so he would have the gossip first-hand and also to cancel her Puzzler Monthly magazine subscription. Tracy talks about how she was driven to killing Charlie to try and to get Gail to admit to feeling the same about Joe. Gail's horrified and reiterates that she loved Joe, leaving Tracy frustrated.
Part Two: Gail's pleased to see her two sons. David warns her to watch Tracy carefully. Tina tells Graeme she has panic attacks at the thought of going out. He manages to make her smile. As she leaves the pub, Cheryl tells Lloyd that La Belle is looking for a new taxi contract. Janice agrees to keep the World Cup arrangement quiet from the women. Leaving Teresa on her own. Lloyd walks Cheryl to her taxi, supposedly to discuss the contract and admits his fling with Teresa has run its course. Roy cannot see the point of spending lots of money on a big ceremony. Hayley tells him to sleep in the spare room. Liz gives Teresa a drink on the house and advises her to move on before Lloyd dumps her. David tells Gail that as far as he knows, Tina is still at her mum's. Lloyd's gobsmacked when Teresa moves out, saying it's been a laugh but she's found a job managing a shop with a flat from a mate in Hyde. Lloyd fondly bids her farewell but once they've parted she rings Darryl in tears, saying she needs a favour. Ken and Deirdre are still shocked that Blanche bequeathed everything to Tracy. Tracy pretends to comfort Gail when she breaks down, proclaiming her innocence.
