Steve finds a letter from Liz saying she's gone. Maria tells Carla about her encounter with Frank outside the factory but admits he didn't actually say anything threatening. Katy and Chesney are emotionally drained by their money worries. Frank meets with Carla at the bistro to discuss business. Tommy returns and tells Tyrone that his parents have split up. Tyrone agrees to give him a room at No.9 permanently. Steve goes to see Jim to deliver a letter to him from Liz. Tommy resumes his flirtation with Tina. Carla and Frank shake on a deal. The staff want answers from Maria over their future as they've finished Frank's order and have no work. Maria pretends to Chris that she's bothered about Carla not involving her in business decisions. Steve announces that Liz is in Spain with Andy. Tracy sees Steve meeting with a solicitor and wants to know why. At Tommy's suggestion, Tyrone takes the afternoon off to annoy Kevin. Steve admits to Tracy that he was going to sell the Rovers but claims to have been interested in No.13. Carla and Frank arrive at the factory and announce that Frank has bought into the business. Maria is horrified.
