Plot

Dorothy is desperate to escape the cellar as Alan is losing blood after his fall down the stairs and needs medical attention. The diggers start at the factory. Owen takes John for a day's work when another worker lets him down. Fiz is surprised John is so keen as he was so determined to leave the area. Gary prints leaflets to advertise his delivery business. Izzy gets annoyed when he makes an appointment at the medical centre for her strained elbow and cancels it. Xin is nervous about the staged row. David tells Kylie they should get legal aid over Max but she still won't co-operate. John pours sugar into the generator to disable it. Chesney notices that John seems edgier today during his visit. David barges into the back room of the Rovers and demands that Becky let Max go for a walk with him and Kylie. Chesney and the Hoyles manage to break free of their restraints.
