PlotEdit

Chris is nervous as he awaits his first radiotherapy session. Frank reassures Carla that he's not upset about her revelation about Peter. Peter and Leanne are puzzled when Frank is friendly to them and suggests they all move on. Chris thinks Lloyd only invited him to live at No.13 under sufferance. He tells Cheryl that he dumped Maria as he wanted a girlfriend, not a nurse. Sylvia does the books at the cafe and tells Roy he needs to put the prices up. Becky receives divorce documentation on her second wedding anniversary. Carla is annoyed when Frank lies about his whereabouts, unaware that he's shopping for an engagement ring. Lloyd airs his grievances about Chris to Karl. Karl tells Owen and Dev about Chris's brain tumour when they wonder why Chris has moved into No.13. Cheryl advises Maria not to push Chris. Sylvia asks to take charge of the cafe while the Croppers visit Fiz in prison. Roy allows it even though he thinks she's trying to prove she can run it better than he can. When Owen insists on paying Chris for work he didn't finish, Chris gets it out of him that Lloyd told Karl about his tumour. Peter sees Carla in the shop and isn't happy when she tells him she's told Frank about her feelings for him but kept quiet about their recent kiss. Frank invites Carla to dinner but turns him down as she's angry with him for disappearing. He proposes to her in the Rovers.
