A humiliated Audrey tries to explain away Marc's appearance by telling everyone he's going to a fancy dress party. He says he's a transvestite but Audrey calls him an idiot. The drinkers try to put him at ease, with Rita telling him he's not hurting anyone. Owen knows Chesney and Katy are too proud to accept his help even though they need it. Fiz phones Chesney and tells him that she's been charged with the murders of Joy and Charlotte so will now stand trial for three murders. Anna advises Chesney and Katy to let Owen help. Dr Carter tells Tina about Tommy warning him off her. Audrey denies that Marc isn't hurting anyone - he's hurting her and has ruined everything. Kylie isn't bothered to discover Marc has removed her trump card as she can have a laugh about it. Audrey tells her she only sees her smile when she's hurting people and calls her evil. Chesney and Katy give Owen a picture of the scan. Audrey doesn't like people feeling sorry for her. She says people see Marc as a freak and wonders what that makes her. Tina gets one over on Tommy by saying his warning to Dr Carter has made their relationship stronger. Marc tells Audrey he feels liberated and asks forgiveness for betraying her. She says she loves him when he's his normal self and asks why he has to dress up. Marc suggests keeping a low profile for a few days and letting the gossips move on to something else but Audrey says he deserves someone who accepts him. He doesn't want to give her up as she's the love of his life but she insists it's over, saying she's sorry. Owen tells Anna he's now officially her landlord. They hug.
