It's the day of Betty's funeral. Kirsty accuses Tina and Tommy of trying to wind her up by parking the van close to her car. Terry witnesses the row. Leanne thinks Stella is worrying about nothing regarding Annie Walker's will as the Rovers has been sold lots of times since 1984 with solicitors involved. The van breaks down again. Tommy decides not to leave. Jason and Gary tell Terry about Kirsty and Tina's feud. Rita and Emily tell Gordon about the will. Terry smashes the van's front headlight and bumper when no one is looking. Sally appoints herself Head of Strategy at the factory. The regulars discuss Betty's potential ownership of the Rovers. Sally interrupts a business meeting between Carla and Neil Trindley and embarrasses Carla by suggesting Trindley rebrands and aims for a younger crowd. Tommy sees the damage to the van and blames Kirsty. Sunita tells Karl the excitement of an affair isn't worth the hurt it would cause but Karl is still keen. Kirsty says she was careful not to hit the van. When Tyrone defends Kirsty, Tommy tells him it's no wonder women treat him like dirt. They nearly come to blows but Terry appears and pulls them apart. Tyrone tells Tommy they're finished.
