Tracy makes herself at home at No.3. Peter is aggrieved when Leanne refuses to let him see Simon to apologise for his behaviour the party. He's annoyed that Leanne and Nick think of him as a joke. Rob shows Carla his business qualifications and asks for a job at the factory. She takes him on to make the coffee but he's quickly left on his own as Carla and Michelle have to rush off. Ken checks on Peter and finds him drinking at the bookies. Peter refuses his help as he doesn't know what it's like to love a son. Brian summons Anna to Bessie Street School over Faye's truancy and her disruptive behaviour in class. Faye offers no defence for it. Rob is left to handle a client, Sandy Austin, by himself, but loses the contract by playing hard ball. Peter catches Leanne and Nick with Simon in the cafe and tries to speak to Simon but it's obvious he's been drinking and Roy stops him getting to Simon. Anna discovers Lindsay Hayward's nasty comments on Faye's social networking page. Peter is too caught up in his own problems to offer Carla any sympathy over her bad day. She says she needs space and returns to her flat.
