Tommy isn't sure whether to believe Faye. Cliff Pughes tells Gail he had hoped to talk sense into Gloria and reveals that she worked at a dry cleaners in Spain, not a bar as she claimed, and that she accidentally burned it down. Beth enthuses about the men on her internet dating site. Tommy confronts Tina about what Faye said, and she admits it's true. Gail enjoys telling Gloria she knows her stories of living it up in Spain are fantasies, but agrees to consider keeping it a secret if she moves back into the Rovers and stops interfering at the bistro. Tommy is dead against Tina being a surrogate, accusing her of selling her body. Lloyd bumps into an old friend, Mandy Kamara, while queuing for the gig and they go in together. Tommy accuses Owen of taking advantage of Tina and vows not to let it happen. Stella agrees to take Gloria back. Lloyd and Mandy have a drink together and reminisce about when they knew each other thirty years ago. Tina apologises to Tommy for approaching Owen before talking things through with him. Lloyd drives Mandy home in his cab and tells her she's the love of his life. She doesn't want to see him again and insists that he doesn't contact her. Tommy tells Tina that if she goes ahead with the surrogacy then it's over between them.
