Ryan makes his excuses and leaves. Tina follows him to find out how much he knows. Peter rants at Rob who walks out of the bookies. Finding St. John’s headstones Sylvia, Hayley and Roy pay their respects. They are suprised to find Roy's name engraved as one of his children. Peter’s had enough of Rob and tells Carla he can’t work with him any longer. Izzy prepares a curry for the meal and tells a shocked Gary that Ryan is one of the guests. When the meal starts, there is a constrained atmosphere between Ryan and Owen and Ryan and Gary. Roy is subdued when they arrive home. Roy is delighted with the train set that St. John left him. Gary gets a moment alone with Ryan and tells him that irrespective of what he heard, he's to mind his own business. The party decamps to the bistro where, under pressure, Ryan admits to Katy that he heard something about a kiss. Rob tells Carla that he wants a share of the bookies or he's leaving and he demands her support. She refuses and they agree that he'll return to Underworld instead. Chesney starts pumping weights as he makes plans to bag himself another woman. Karl grows impatient with Gloria for interfering with the Rovers’ rebuild, claiming he wants everything to be just right for Stella. Gary tries to explain himself to Katy but she won't listen. Tina realises Katy knows and she and Gary worry that soon Izzy will know also.
