Plot[]
Carla and Luke bond in the flat. Jason agrees to take Gary on. Gail enjoys Michael's company and learns that his son doesn't speak to him. Izzy worries Owen and Katy by talking about relationship problems but swears she and Gary are fine. Carla rakes over her failed marriage. Luke tells her that Peter is an idiot for letting her go. She goes in for a kiss but Luke stops it, telling her that he can't go through with it as she's in a bad place. He knows Carla only brought him back there to score points off Peter. She's embarrassed but grateful for Luke's kindness. He later tells Steph what went on, telling her that he doesn't prey on vulnerable women like Peter. Todd has guessed that Marcus was lying and accuses him of showing him up. Gary is reluctant to celebrate his new job with Izzy. Michael gives Gail a dianthus as a present. Carla commiserates with Rob and wonders if she'll ever be free of Peter. Todd tells Marcus his relationship with Liam reminds him of Billy and breaks down. He tells Marcus he needs space.
