Plot

Ray feels that, as Dave and Len think he took the money, he's going to keep the money and leave the area. Ena persuades Ray to give her the money and she returns it to Dave. Dave calls her interfering and tells her Minnie owes him money and he wants it back. Gordon passes his exams. He wins £5 for being the youngest to pass. Ena tells Len that Janice stole the money and that Ray is packing because he feels Len doesn't trust him. Gordon spends his prize money on an engagement ring for Lucille. Dave, Len and Ray make up. Elsie offers to pay off Minnie's debt. Stan goes around trying to make Hilda's predictions come true to drum up more trade.
