Plot
Edit
The party continues into the evening with a free bar paid for by Alan. Irma returns to the party. Stan gets hopelessly drunk on the free ale. Ken makes a speech wishing the newly-weds all the best. Alan makes his own speech. Irma grows depressed again at what she has lost. When the free bar finishes, a paralytic Stan joins Irma, Bet and Ray in the flat and cadges gin off them. Ray and Len row over the money Alan owes them. Len goes to Barrow in Furness for three weeks on a job. A baby is stolen from outside Hopwood Street post office. The Howards go off on their fortnight's honeymoon in Paris, waved off by the residents. Ray discovers from Charlie Clarke that Alan owes Willie Piggott £200 as well as the money he owes them. Bet takes Emily to show her the flat and they find Irma there with a baby.
