Antony Coupe appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly he was heard as a radio announcer who gave a news bulletin following the Mark Brittain Warehouse fire in October 1975; and he returned to the programme as an ambulance man on the scene after a lorry crashed into the front of the Rovers in March 1979.
He also appeared in an episode of Strangers in 1978.
