Anthony Valentine
Anthony Valentine (born 17th August 1939 in Blackburn, died 2nd December 2015) appeared on Coronation Street between November 2009 and March 2010 as George Wilson, maternal grandfather of Simon Barlow.
Following several appearances as Agent Toby Mears alongside Edward Woodward in the 1960s/70s TV series Callan, Anthony had several appearances in Minder as a gambling poker expert. He has also had guest roles in Brian Clemens' Thriller, Tales of the Unexpected and Hammer House of Horror. More recently he has appeared in The Bill, New Tricks and Waking the Dead.
