Dave Dutton (born 19th August 1947 in Atherton, Lancashire) appeared on Coronation Street in nine roles:
- Eric Priestley in February 1985
- An unnamed Gas Board man in September 1989
- Bert Latham, a friend of Jack Duckworth, between December 1990 and February 1991
- An insurance man who assessed the Websters' fire-damaged kitchen in August 1995
- Weatherfield Gazette photographer Harry Benson, between January 1998 and May 2001
- Gerald Unwin, Shelley Unwin's uncle, in July 2003
- Clifford, a neighbour of Joy Fishwick's, between January and May 2011
- Weatherfield High history teacher Leslie Rawlins in April 2017.
- Barry Noakes who came to the rescue of a mugged Peter Barlow in November 2020.
In 2012 he also played the played the part of Jack Walker in 1968 Corrie by Jack Rosenthal a live re-restaging of three episodes of the programme that had been broadcast in 1968.
He is a former newspaper reporter, television scriptwriter, songwriter, author of 14 books and ex-front man for comedy folk group "Inclognito".
His other credits include Brookside, Travelling Man, The Practice, First Among Equals, Floodtide, Bulman, the regular role of Oswald in Watching, The Grand, Always and Everyone, Merseybeat, The Royal, Dead Man Weds, Heartbeat, Cutting It, New Street Law, The Royal Today, My Spy Family, Just Henry, Doctors and several roles in Emmerdale. On the big screen he has been seen in The Nature of the Beast.
