Madoline Thomas (born "Madoline Mary Price" on 2nd January 1890 in Abergavenny, Wales; died 30th December 1989 in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset) appeared on Coronation Street between July and August 1976 as Bertha Lumley, the bingo-going sparring partner of Albert Tatlock.

Her other television credits, dating back to the 1940s, included roles in Family Affairs, The Grove Family, Villette, How Green Was My Valley, The Wars of the Roses, The Newcomers, New Scotland Yard, Crown Court, Clayhanger, Angels, Shelley and Juliet Bravo.

Film roles included Painted Boats, No Trace, Burke & Hare and Something to Hide.

On stage, she appeared in productions of The Devils, Curtmantle, The Comedy of Errors, Julius Caesar, Henry VI, Richard III, On the High Road, The Lower-Middle Class, Edward IV, The Jew of Malta, The Government Inspector and Hamlet for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Other works included Three Waltzes, Fly Away Peter, Northanger Abbey, Quiet Weekend, Deadlock, Three Sisters, The Mousetrap, Tales from the Vienna Wood, The Country Wife, Strife and Uncle Vanya.
