The unnamed Customer shopped in Sylvia's Separates when Elsie Howard was in full war cry against Roy Thornley whose wife Doreen had just issued proceedings for a divorce citing his adultery with a young and impressionable Gail Potter. After Roy had stormed out of the shop, Elsie took her frustrations out on the customer, telling her that the colour of the garment she had chosen didn't suit her one bit.
