Dean Fagan (born c.1988) appeared as mechanic Luke Britton on Coronation Street from March 2014 to January 2018.
His decision to leave Coronation Street was kept a secret from the public until the airing of his final episode as his departure involved his character unexpectedly getting murdered.
He got into the acting profession almost by accident when an interview for a bricklaying course at college was delayed and instead he signed up for a performing arts course.
His first professional role was playing Culture Club bassist Mikey Craig in Worried About The Boy in 2010 and parts have since followed in Scott & Bailey, Homefront, Freshmeat and All at Sea. He is also a resident DJ at The Black Dog Ballroom in the Northern Quarter of Manchester, and The Terrace.
