Del Henney (born "Joseph D. Henney" on 24th July 1935 in Liverpool, died 14th January 2019 in Cambridgeshire) appeared on Coronation Street between November and December 1971 as Weatherfield County FC's star footballer Eddie Duncan.
Graduating from RADA in 1965, his other credits include roles in United!, The Newcomers, Softly Softly: Task Force, Z Cars, Crown Court, Fallen Hero, The Professionals, Juliet Bravo, Doctor Who, A Woman of Substance, The Bill and Midsomer Murders.
On stage, he appeared in productions of The Strange Case of Martin Richter, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Sleuth and A View from the Bridge.
