Plot[]

Phyllis is astounded to find Raquel living with Des. Steve and Andy make a big effort as Jim brings Liz back home from hospital. Angie accuses Raquel of pinching Des and calls her a calculating little cow. Percy and Emily transfer all the charity shop stock to another shop in Nightingale Street. Percy organises the removal men with military-like efficiency only to forget about a box of books stored at No.1. Vicky thinks that Alec and Bet have a fragile marriage. Bet worries that she'll tell Alec about Des Foster. Steve breaks down and has to be comforted by Liz. She refuses to let Steve blame himself - she tells him it was her fault that Katherine died. Jim is touched to find Andy waiting for him at the register office when he goes to register Katherine's birth and death. Deirdre and Ken receive their divorce papers. Alec returns home from the working cruise. Bet gives him a warm welcome. Alec makes it plain to Angie that she'll have to leave the Rovers when Liz returns. Des tells Raquel he was never serious about Angie. He makes overtures towards her but she tells him that she just wants a friendship with him. She agrees to pay him £20 a week. Alma doesn't care that Ken is now divorced. Vicky is annoyed when Bet insists she returns to boarding school tomorrow as planned; she wanted to see more of Alec.
