Plot[]
Steve arrives back from his holiday in Spain. He walks into the Rovers as the new owner but is unimpressed at the mess from the previous night's lock-in. He's even more annoyed to find Bev's still there when he's supposed to be moving into her room. Bill gets ready to go back to Germany. Rosie and Sophie are sad to see him go. Tracy starts playing the victim. She intimates to Deirdre and then to Claire that she's in some way scared of Charlie. Norris is finding it difficult to cope by himself in The Kabin so Blanche helps out. As Danny, Frankie and Jamie have lunch together the atmosphere is strained. Audrey goes to Bill's farewell drinks in the Rovers. Kevin, Sally and Gail are aware of the growing intimacy between Audrey and Bill. Liz tells Steve she wants to get rid of Michelle but Steve won't allow it. Danny orders champagne and proposes to Frankie, saying he wants them to be married again. Jamie, secretly convinced Frankie will refuse, is horrified when Frankie accepts Danny's proposal. Danny's ecstatic.
