Plot[]
As Liz shivers on the balcony, Derek feeds Linda a pack of lies. Jerry offers Kevin the loan of his karaoke machine for Sally's 40th birthday party. Liz arrives back at the Rovers feeling guilty. Vernon's delighted to have her home and tells her how much he's missed her. Liz feels even worse. Jack and Vera continue to treat Tyrone and Molly like a couple of servants. Liz is on pins wondering if Linda's found out about her affair with Derek. Sally's shocked when Rosie arrives at the factory saying she's got an interview for an office job. Carla enjoys pulling rank over Liam and offers Rosie the job. Blanche complains to Liz about the amount of cigarette ends she's finding outside her house since the smoking ban came into force. Leanne's restaurant opening party takes place. Carla and Liam turn up to scoff. Sally's miffed that Rosie has got a better job than she has. Kevin reckons it's down to Rosie's private education. Leanne feels the pressure when Luigi warns her the booze is running out and she's ordered far too much food. Derek and Liz meet secretly in the ginnel. Liz tells him their affair is over. They kiss passionately and Liz goes back to the pub in tears.
