Plot[]
Sally's English Literature books arrive in the post. One of the books is "Howards End" which Kevin mistakes for "Howards' Way". Jamie wonders what's up with Violet as she seems preoccupied. Ashley calls to see Claire and is slightly thrown to find Casey there. For a horrible moment he thinks Casey's told Claire how he tried to kiss her but she hasn't. Paul asks Leanne for a job as a chef. He cooks her lunch and Leanne's impressed. Paul explains how he had to leave his last job as he was caught in bed with the owner's wife. Leanne's amused and gives him the job. Ashley begs Claire to return home telling her how much he and Joshua miss her. Ashley returns home to find Casey waiting for him outside. He apologises for trying to kiss her and tells her that it's Claire that he loves and she's coming back tomorrow. Casey is consumed with jealousy. Blanche catches Liz smoking in the Rovers' toilets and threatens to report her. Liz continues to tiptoe round Vernon realising she's got a lot of making up to do. Sally confides in Fiz she's wishing she'd never embarked on 'A' Level English. Violet takes a pregnancy test and bursts into tears at the result.
