Plot[]
Vicky persuades the twins to risk transmitting from No.1 again as it's her turn to be DJ. Reg denies Curly a place on the float and tells him to follow in their wake handing out flyers to spectators. Derek criticises Audrey for not stocking organic produce at the shop. Gail doesn't think she's rejecting Martin by not marrying him. Alec sees movement in No.1 and calls the police, telling them there's a burglary in progress. Bet looks inside and discovers that the intruders are Vicky and the twins. Thinking quickly, she rushes them out before the police arrive and pretends that she went inside to water Deirdre's plants. Alec is furious that the twins have led Vicky astray and he's been made to look a fool. The residents turn out for the carnival. Curly is miserable as Reg barks orders at him. Vivian Barford enacts Britannia on the WARTS float. Liz takes the radio equipment off the twins. Phyllis startles Percy, causing him to knock Vivian off her chair, bringing the Union Jack down on top of them both. Bettabuy wins the prize for best float. Percy thinks it should have gone to a British-themed float. Angie gives Curly a design bill of £406 to pass onto Reg. Alec doesn't want Vicky to have any more to do with the McDonald twins. Bet warns him not to upset Liz. Reg refuses to pay Angie's bill and gives Curly a £10 voucher to give her.
