Plot[]
Part One: Tony covers up, saying it's an argument over petty cash at the shop and drags Tracy outside before she can cause more trouble. Anna calls on Roy to cry on his shoulder and tell him of the strain that she's under. Tony tells Liz that he had to take £1,000 out of the petty cash to pay off his threatening creditors. Tracy rings Tony to apologise, pleased that they now own half of the Rovers. Sean comes home, upset at the day's events. Jenny enquires about renting a flat, telling the agent it's for her and her son. Tony berates Tracy for almost blowing things. He tells her to apologise to Liz. Word starts to spread about the sale of the pub. Jenny starts to break down in front of Jack, telling him how much she loves him and wants him to live with her.
Part Two: Mary returns from the sale with a pile of purchases, including a canteen of cutlery that Julie had donated. Julie takes Billy to task for upsetting Sean. He calls on Sean and explains how he's told the bishop he can't live a lie - that Sean is his boyfriend and that he has to accept it. Sean is touched. Liz tells Eileen about Tony's financial problems. She, in turn, tells Jason who's puzzled that he's heard nothing before. He questions his annoyed father who tells him not to worry. Tracy apologises to Liz. Sophie moves back into No.13. Jenny makes her welcome. Billy invites Sean back to the vicarage for the night. Tracy is impatient to get the other half of the pub next week. Tony admits his conscience is troubled but tells her that he wants the same things as her.
