The Event Organiser was the principle speaker at a teachers examination conference attended by John Stape in June 2010. John, having been barred from teaching, was there under the alias of Colin Fishwick, an old colleague who had emigrated to Canada.
Also there was Charlotte Hoyle who had also known Colin and, during the Organiser’s boring and long-winded speech, her attention drifted to the attendance list where she spotted his name, leading to John having to confess his deception.
