Fay was an elderly lady pushed forward by two Rugby Players to play the piano at the Gatsby Club after an appeal by Ralph Lancaster. Ernest Bishop was supposed to fulfil the role, accompanying Rita Fairclough at a charity night but the bar flap at the Rovers had been accidentally dropped on his hand by a Darts Player.
